n. simply something the author would like the reader to know that is not part of the body of work
In an attempt to write a full-blown novel and add “novelist” to the list of my titles, I present to you “Angst’s Pen,” a suspense/thriller/drama/romance novel that I myself also has no idea what will happen next to the main characters: Danny (the widower); Rob (the best and the bad friend of Danny); and Jane (Danny’s wife).
For the rest of the year, this is the only thing exCOMMUNICADO offers for the readers. Please bear with me.
What makes this story unique is that even I don’t know how to end it.
And I write only when I’m holding the pen of angst.
It means I don’t write everyday; I write when I am angry.
It will really help if you will subscribe here so you will be notified when a new chapter is up.
Read and imagine. Start here.
The exCOMMUNICADO thanks you.
Someday this will be published in a paperback. Be the first ones to read and comment on my first masterpiece. J.S
It’s also the same process I plunge myself into each time I write a series of posts. I’ve read the first two chapters. I will be posting my observations here very soon, although I was thinking of sending my notes by email. So far, everything’s going good. Break a leg Judy! You can do it :)
Wow, this is enough to keep me writing til the last page (or post) of my novel! Thanks for your kind words, Splice! I am looking forward (with fingers-crossed) for your comments. Thanks and I hope it’s okay to be your fan. Haha! See you again, here. Thanks, Splice! :) I sure will break both of my legs to be a novelist. LOL
nice start. interesting, though, that you don’t how it will end. i think one of the rules to follow when a novel is to finish the first and last chapters before continuing. if i may recommend, i’d like you to read or reread whatever be the case ‘the maltese falcon’ by dashiell hammett. you can use it as a model for the novel you’re writing now. trust me, you’ll never regret it.
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to read and for your advice. I sure will try to find a copy of that book! And thanks, I didn’t know that I have to write the ending now… Haha! :D
you’ll be able to get an ebook version from the internet. however, i think it’s better to have a hard copy so you can study and analyze it better. it’s a classic. it should be available in second hand bookstores.
i mean, when writing a novel…
Yon o numo-novelist! Go Jud! Get that writing juice floweeeeen! :D
Of course! Hahaha. :) Too bad, ang saya-saya ko these days kaya di ako makasulat ng next chapter! But be patient, I’ll get that million-dollar title soon! Hahaha. :)
just finished reading #3. so far your obra is looking good. i did notice some grammatical errors, but i’d say don’t worry about them. your main goal for now is to continue on writing. editing at this point will not only slow you down but it will also dampen your creativity. anyway, there’ll be plenty of time for corrections once you finish the novel. :)
Haha! I knowww there are quite a lot and striking errors on my work, of course it’s raw and I have no head writer to do the checking! But at least, the story keeps on flowing! Not to mention I haven’t been in a state of angst for quite sometime and I can’t write the next chapter. Haha! But I hope I can get back to writing soon. Thanks for the heads up. :) And of course, for reading everything I have thrown in here. ;)
Here from Cherlyn! This is a wonderful intro, Judy, that bodes well for your book. Wish you luck.
Will you participate in National Novel Writing Month this year? Might be a good exercise. More here -

Wow, thank you dear Jamie! Cherlyn’s a great blogger and friend, I am happy that you liked The Prologue of Angst’s Pen. Too bad, I can’t find that pen again so I can’t continue with the novel! Haha! But of course I will. :)
Thanks for that link, I hope I can do my part. :)
